Paul O'Neil
Section Manager, Asset Servicing
Following a diverse career within the financial industry, Paul joined our Manchester office in April 2007. Since then he has become a Section Manager within the Banking Operations Department thanks to the adaptability, dedication and commitment he demonstrated across a variety of roles.
Initially he was offered a clerk position in Banking Operations but through persistence and help from the exceptional BNY Mellon Leadership and Development program, within just 18 months, Paul was promoted to a Supervisory role, quickly followed by Section Manager.
He currently manages a team of 11 employees whose responsibilities include handling all incoming Sterling transactions for BNY Mellon's Brussels and London offices.
Over the course of just three years, Paul has managed three separate teams across a variety of business areas and at the start of 2010 began a Financial Services degree funded by BNY Mellon.
