Victoria Heard
Team Leader, Fund Accounting
Victoria left school with nine GCSEs and realised that NVQ courses in finance, business and insurance could help her achieve her ambition of working in financial services.
After completing qualifications whilst in full time work, she decided to apply to BNY Mellon and was immediately offered a position as a Supervisor in Fund Accounting.
Since joining, her enthusiasm and ability has enabled her to rapidly progress within the department and she was promoted to her current role of Team Leader in October 2008.
She now manages 10 colleagues and ensures that more than 40 funds are priced and valued correctly by her team each day.
As well as taking on more responsibility in her role, Victoria remains committed to improving her skills and is currently working towards three IAQ qualifications.
