Institutional Accounting Manchester
Having accurate information to make the right decisions on investments is crucial for our clients.
This division is responsible for working with some of the UK's most prestigious asset managers in order to report on fund performance and provide a comprehensive range of services to the investment management industry.
Manchester's Fund Accounting team provides pricings and valuations for $35.6 trillion of assets across over 400 funds.
Within this division, there are several distinct roles:
Ideal candidates: All roles within Fund Accounting require keen attention to detail and a strong client service ethic.
Financial Reporting candidates need excellent analysis skills whilst Valuations and Central Operations positions require an ability to communicate effectively and work to tight deadlines.
Our clients include FTSE-100 companies and sovereign wealth funds and these organisations rely upon accurate accounting reports from this department to evaluate their investments.
Day to day activity in an Institutional Accounting Manchester role includes collating and reviewing data and compiling reports which reflect client priorities.
Positions within this team offer the opportunity to learn about the investments industry and specialise in areas of interest to become in-house experts for wider teams within the company.
Ideal candidates: Institutional Accounting Manchester roles involve working to tight deadlines and meeting high client expectations. Experience in accounting, reconciliations, financial markets or securities would also benefit candidates.

- Valuations – the pricing funds for asset managers in the UK and globally
- Financial Reporting – developing and delivering reports to clients
- Central Operations – identifying risk, calculating forecasts and resolving issues.
