BNY Mellon screening and selection process – Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks

BNY Mellon are committed to hiring the highest quality employees into our organization and strive to follow best practice pre employment screening methods. As such, we carry out CRB checks on all new employees as part of our pre-employment screening process.

If you are called for an interview, as part of the preparation for a CRB check you will be asked to provide your consent along with the requisite documentation. If you are applying for an approved persons role you will be asked to complete an application form which will be provided to you by BNY Mellon.

Any disclosures resulting from CRB checks are treated strictly in accordance with the CRB code of Practice.
